Born and raised in Colorado! I grew up on a small plot of land, away from the hustle and bustle - and my first pet was a baby pig!
I grew up in a very NON athletic, not too health-minded family. And like most people, you end up with some of those traits, naturally.
By the time I was 22 I was smoking 2 packs a day. drinking Mountain Dew by the gallon and Taco Bell was breakfast lunch and dinner. YIKES!
I was also on thyroid medicine, anxiety and depression medicine, high blood pressure, high cholesterol - and I was SO young!
I was tired all the time, relied on coffee and energy drinks, and I was overweight....and unhappy.
Putting on outfits in the morning before work was the worst thing ever. Clothes never fit right, I just wanted to feel comfortable in my own skin....just ONCE.
So I started my journey the way many women do - low carb, keto, paleo, low fat, intermittent fasting etc., I would buy tummy wraps, diet pills, you name it.
For years, I tried to lose weight and would succeed slightly, miserable the whole time...
Then give up and gain it all back and then some.
FINALLY - I found what works. After YEARS and years of doing it the wrong way. The miserable way. The painful way.
I became a certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach, as well as Hormone Specialist!

I knew that I wanted to share what I knew with all those women who were just like me - struggling so hard, just to fit into that pair of jeans, just to be HEALTHY.
I want to help the women who feel lost, like they have tried it all - MKDLifestyle was born because we are Multidimensional - we HELP all people and everyone is tailored to differently. We are kinetic - we MOVE and we teach you how to move right for your body and your goals. We are defiant. We aren't here to make a buck. We are here to TEACH you how to do it so you can be successful for LIFE. And lastly, but most important - we are LIFESTYLE.
It wasn't until I realized that it was my lifestyle habits that had to be changed, slowly, in order for be to be successful. That crash diets, fad diets and all of these "popular" things people say you need to lose weight is really all just marketing schemes and ways for people to make money on the vulnerable. We teach you how to be successful in your life, and everybody is SO different in their careers, day to day life, etc - so why would there be just one way?
My goal and my life's work is to help as many people as possible -stop struggling to lose weight and keep it off. This is what I was put on this Earth to do!
My free time is spent with my husband, our Strength and Conditioning Coach, cooking, drinking coffee and hosting our podcast "Coffee With Kriss!" I also love to kickbox, read, write and spend time in the sunshine. This mountain girl is a beach lover through and through.
My name is Cos "pronounced K-oh-s" and I'm the President /Co-owner of MKD Lifestyle.
My wife and I started this company to help people enhance their lives through fitness. We want to help people the way that we wished someone helped us when we first started.
I'm a full time O.S.S Descendant (Green Beret). It's a demanding job but I love fitness and helping people achieve what they think is impossible and because of this MKD Lifestyle is all the more special to me. I've been working on my fitness for almost two decades now and the process has taught me - that it's a lifestyle. And because of that I know it can be intimidating to do it alone - which is why you have me!
Born and raised in Texas, I was always active growing up and played a variety of sports. I had originally started working out one summer after my friends had been making fun of me. I mostly ignored them and told them they were jerks but then my Mom broke my heart one afternoon after school and called me "a real Chunky Monkey!” I'll never forget that moment!
I was determined to be better and my fitness journey began. I soon found out that I had real passion for fitness. I decided that my passion was in Corrective Exercise (muscle imbalances/Injuries) and Strength and Conditioning, where I now specialize. After becoming certified in both of those, I found a real love for program design and the way small changes can be extremely HELPFUL to someone’s goals. There’s an amazing feeling associated with seeing someone hit a PR they been chasing!
Because of this passion I have been able to create the life and body of my dreams - and my goal is to help others do the same!!
